• En el presente trabajo
se desarrollaron, implementaron y validaron las técnicas de extracción de ADN
a partir de manchas de fluídos y de tejidos celulares obtenidos de cadáveres
en diferente estado de conservación.
• El estudio de los
diferentes métodos de purificación del ADN extraído, permitió optimizar la
eficiencia de los estudios posteriores.
• Se compararon los
distintos sistemas variables conocidos para diferentes materiales de interés
forense, permitiendo una selección de los más adecuados para cada caso.
• Se desarrollaron nuevos
sistemas combinados de caracterización molecular para análisis de ADN
altamente degradado, obtenido a partir de manchas de fluídos biológicos y/o
restos humanos.
• Del estudio de pelos en
diferentes condiciones, pudo establecerse que sólo los que poseen bulbo
resultan adecuados para al análisis de ADN microsatélite.
• Se determinó la utilidad
de las uñas en la identificación de cadáveres.
• Se correlacionaron las
características tanatológicas del material de análisis y la investigación
molecular basada en estudios de ADN.
• Se determinó que la
pulpa dental es el material de elección para el análisis de ADN proveniente de
cadáveres quemados.
• Se establecieron
estrategias de análisis de restos humanos procedentes de desastres en masa.
• Se efectuaron estudios
preliminares de marcadores hipervariables ubicados en el cromosoma Y humano,
concluyéndose que son aptos para el análisis forense.
